This picture dates from Easter 1962. The woman in the middle is me, pushing my son Lincoln and on the right husband Jim with daughter Claire. We are on the Aldermaston to London March (52 miles) in aid of CND. This event took place over the four days of Easter. As we were living in Kingston-upon-Thames at the time we were able to go home each evening and sleep in our own beds. However there was still a lot of walking to do but the company was congenial and we had picnics and singing.
