Notes for new readers - as this is a diary the first entry is the last, so you get to know 'who done it' before the crime is committed! This is a pain but can't be helped. After a week of entries the scrolling will stop and if you want to venture further click on 'OLDER POSTS' and read until you get to the first entry 'The Day Before Day 1.
Started back on the masks today. Prompted by a message from Christine Muller asking for one yesterday. Finished the ones half done and then pondered on future design. I think I need to make them with a pocket for a filter. I did some online research about filters, different designs and methods. Ordered some elastic which I can collect from Waitrose tomorrow. Shall I order some wire for nose shaping?
Went for a walk with Jasper and Maureen. We checked the condition of the river. All clear and no concrete lorry on site.
A couple of pictures of Joni in her friends house in Florence, Italy, where they were doing a photo shoot. Her friend is studying photography.

The statue of slave trader Edward Colston was replaced in Bristol on Wednesday morning – with a sculpture of one of the protesters whose anger brought him down.
The figure of Jen Reid, who was photographed standing on the plinth with her fist raised after the 17th century merchant was toppled by Black Lives Matter demonstrators last month, was erected at dawn by a team directed by the artist Marc Quinn.
Arriving in two lorries before 5am, a team of 10 people worked quickly to install the figure of Reid, who said she had been secretly working with Quinn on the idea for weeks. It came as a complete surprise to the authorities, who are yet to announce their plans for the location.
A cardboard placard reading “black lives still matter” was placed at the bottom of the plinth.
Shortly after the vehicles drove away, Reid stood in front of the statue with her fist in the air. “It’s just incredible,” she said.
After meticulous planning to ensure the statue could be erected quickly enough to have it in place before officials arrived, the vehicles left the scene about 15 minutes after they got there.

Chris Grayling was tonight denied a role as boss of Parliament's Intelligence and Security Committee in a humiliation for the top Tory.
Members of the powerful body spurned Mr Grayling, widely said to be No10's favourite, and elected Tory Julian Lewis to lead them instead.
The Times reported Mr Grayling was blindsided by the move after only discovering Mr Lewis would challenge him with minutes to spare.
The election of 68-year-old Mr Lewis, a former chairman of the Commons Defence Committee, clears a major hurdle for the long-awaited Russia report to be published.
Downing Street was accused of thwarting scrutiny after it took six months to set up the committee in the wake of the 2019 general election.
Boris Johnson was then accused of parachuting the ex-minister nicknamed 'Failing Grayling' into the role of chair.

My brother-in-law Eddie lives in Spain. He has parrots. This is an African Grey and was a talker. At the time that Jim and I visited Eddie the parrot lived in a cage on the terrace. We slept in the room you can see behind the bars. Early in the morning Ajax (I think that was his name) would practise his phrases and calling 'Eddie' in the exact tone of voice used by Eddie's wife Mavis. Disturbing but hilarious.
I spent a good deal of my time there trying to teach Ajax the phrase "Holy Mackerel". No success.
Eddie later built a large aviary for Ajax and other birds he had. One day Eddie returned home to find that a large owl had penetrated the aviary and removed Ajax's head.
TOT ZIENS! Stay Safe! Don't take anything for granted!
