Day 101 Requiem

Notes for new readers - as this is a diary the first entry is the last, so you get to know 'who done it' before the crime is committed! This is a pain but can't be helped. After a week of entries the scrolling will stop and if you want to venture further click on 'OLDER POSTS' and read until you get to the first entry 'The Day Before Day 1
Graig Fach garden from the terrace.
Today, the 30th June, is the 5th Anniversary of Jim's death from sarcomatoid mesothelioma. His ashes were dispersed at the base of an oak tree donated by our friends at CADS and planted on my son's land in an area rapidly becoming an arboretum.. Every year the family add to the shrubs around the tree and today we planted an Hydrangea. So I drove down to Graig Fach in Carmarthenshire for lunch and in the afternoon when the rain stopped for a while my son Lincoln, and his family remembered a much loved and missed member of the family. Most of this post will be taken up with the pictures I took today.

Random Picture

Not a random picture at all but specially chosen for this day as it illustrates Jim's efforts to help others. Here he is trying to rectify some of the worst craters in the Market carpark. It was a thankless task but Jim persevered with it.

TOT ZIENS! Keep planting Trees! and shrubs!
