Notes for new readers - as this is a diary the first entry is the last, so you get to know 'who done it' before the crime is committed! This is a pain but can't be helped. After a week of entries the scrolling will stop and if you want to venture further click on 'OLDER POSTS' and read until you get to the first entry 'The Day Before Day 1
Made another batch of 'Mask Angels today. I hope they are going to be useful because although they are not much effort I could be doing other things. I shan't post them off until I have heard how the first lot were received.
I also made progress on the patchwork front. I could get the one cushion done over the weekend if I made the effort. To encourage myself I looked back at the pictures of my log cabins quilts that I made in France. Here is the purple quilt in progress and the finished item.
I gave them all (6) to my daughters in law when we left France.
I'm having trouble loading videos. I can't understand why. I have done several successfully but now it doesn't work.

No 10 has said the country now has the capacity to test more than 35,000 hospital patients, NHS staff and care workers a day for coronavirus but questions are mounting about why less than half of those tests are currently being carried out.
While the government is aiming for 100,000 tests a day, just 15,994 tests were carried out in the 24 hours before 9am on Wednesday.
This is despite capacity at NHS and Public Health England laboratories of 20,771 tests and 14,300 at 26 privately operated drive-through sites across the country.

This is the orange 'Sunflower' quilt made for the main bedroom. My favourite. In this example all of the squares are identical and some of the fabric has sunflower designs.
TOT ZIENS! Eat Nuts - especially if they are covered in chocolate!
